MHA™ Multi-Heat Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: Easy to apply, MHA™ (Multi-Heat Adhesive) is an economical, heat-activated mounting adhesive with a moisture stable release liner. Unlike most pressure-sensitive adhesives, MHA’s initial tack is very low. This feature allows for prints to be repositioned on pre-coated boards. When satisfied with the alignment, process through your laminator (185°F–220°F/85°C–104°C) for a permanent bond.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: MHA’s carrier-free adhesive offers a superior bond to flexible and rollable substrates such as expanded PVC (e.g. Sintra™). MHA is a perfect match when used in conjunction with Drytac’s MediaShield™ and MHL™ laminates.

Tip: MHA is considered to be the most versatile and user-friendly adhesive on the market. It is an ideal material for training new operators.

BestMount™ DS Plus

DESCRIPTION: A smooth coating of Drytac’s aqueous acrylic adhesive on both sides of a 3.0mil white polypropylene film carrier. The additional thickness of the carrier reduces “orange peel” by concealing minor imperfections in the substrate. Moisture stable release liners both sides.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: BestMount DS Plus is ideal for mounting thin output media to dark substrates, such as black GatorFoam©. This is the adhesive of choice for mounting high gloss output as its 3.0mil carrier will minimize “orange peel”. Also ideal for the production of pre-coated boards: the adhesive’s new nonslip release liner allows boards pre-coated with BestMount DS Plus to stack safely without slippage.

BestMount™ Flexible Mounting Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: BestMount™ Flexible is an aggressive adhesive, coated on both sides of a 2.0 mil non-woven, porous, flexible fleece paper carrier. This acid-free adhesive offers excellent conformability properties, making it the ideal adhesive when mounting to irregular/rough surfaces.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: Specifically engineered to conform to a wide variety of surfaces, especially Sintra™ and like substrates. Due to its strong adhesive bond, BestMount Flexible is also the adhesive of choice for most rough and flexible surfaces, including those that may expand and contract with changes in temperature.

BlackTac™
Blockout Adhesive Allows Re-use
of Mounting Substrates

DESCRIPTION: BlackTac™ consists of solvent
acrylic adhesives coated on both sides of a white
polypropylene carrier. The adhesive on the exposed
side is semi-clear and appears white on the (white) polypropylene carrier. The adhesive on the side protected by the release liner is deep black opaque. Using the decal style method, apply BlackTac to the back of the image to be mounted. The white adhesive intensifies image colors while the black adhesive blocks out the colors or graphics already present on the mount surface.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: BlackTac can save money by allowing reuse of mount boards because it is specifically designed to block out background colors and graphics. Simply mount the new graphic on top of the old - there is no show through.

Facemount™ UV Optically Clear Mounting Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: An optically clear pressure-sensitive mounting adhesive protected on each side by a clear polyester release liner.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: Facemount is engineered for the face mounting of virtually any image to clear substrates like PetG™, acrylic, Plexiglas™ and polycarbonate. Facemount is also appropriate for lenticular imaging applications and backlit display transparencies, such as Duratrans™.

FloorTac™ Floor-Approved Mounting Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: A white PVC carrier coated with a permanent rubber adhesive on the exposed side and a removable acrylic adhesive on the other. The high-tack removable adhesive won’t come off accidentally, yet removes cleanly from properly prepared, approved floor surfaces up to 6 months after installation.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: Designed for adhering graphics to properly prepared indoor floor surfaces. The printed image is encapsulated with a protective floor-approved laminate on the front side (e.g. Protac or MediaShield Emerytex™ 5.0 mil) and FloorTac adhesive on the backside. The permanent adhesive side of FloorTac is bonded to the graphic, while the removable adhesive side is applied directly to a dry floor surface (once the release liner is peeled off).

MediaTac™
Economical General Purpose Pressure-Sensitive Aqueous Adhesive
Now with Non-Slip Release Liner!

DESCRIPTION: MediaTac™ consists of a smooth coating of Drytac’s aqueous acrylic adhesive on both sides of a 0.5 mil polyester film carrier. The new non-slip release liner allows pre-coated boards to stack safely without slippage.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: Suitable for image decal and high-volume mounting applications, including pre-coating mounting boards. Also ideal for mounting prints to smooth porous substrates such as foam boards, cardstock, GatorFoam© and tempered hardboard.

RemoTac™ Mounting Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: A permanent adhesive on the exposed side and a removable adhesive on the other.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: RemoTac™ is ideal for interchangeable signs and graphics for countertop and window surface applications.

Tip: Ensure that the area to which you apply a graphic pre-coated with RemoTac has been cleaned prior to application. If the surface is dirty, it may have a detrimental effect on the adhesion properties of RemoTac. Note: The exposed adhesive side is the permanent side.

SureTac™ White Mounting Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: An aggressive, solvent acrylic adhesive with a 1.1 mil white polypropylene carrier. The white carrier reduces “show through” when mounting thinner materials (e.g. bond paper) to darker substrates. The additional thickness of the carrier also reduces “orange peel” by absorbing minor imperfections in the mounting board.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: SureTac White has similar applications as SureTac, but its white polypropylene carrier makes it the ideal choice for mounting thin output media to dark substrates, such as black GatorFoam©.

TransferTac™
Thin Carrier-Free Adhesive for Flexible
Materials

DESCRIPTION: Drytac’s economical TransferTac™
adhesive is a carrier-free aqueous acrylic adhesive
protected by a moisture-stable release liner.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: TransferTac is
recommended for use with flexible and/or rollable
substrates. The absence of a carrier makes TransferTac™
self-trimming around most mount boards and irregular
shaped items. The thin smooth coating will minimize “orange peel” when applied to ultra smooth mounting boards such as aluminum.

TwinTac™ Mounting Adhesive

DESCRIPTION: TwinTac™ consists of a smooth coating of Drytac’s aqueous acrylic adhesive on both sides of a 2.0 mil clear PVC (vinyl) film. Two moisture stable release liners protect the adhesive, one on either side of the film.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: Suitable for all mounting applications. The double release papers protect the adhesive layer before use, thus preventing any contamination during handling. Because TwinTac has two release liners, it's great for cut sheet applications. Also ideal for production of pre-coated boards. The release liners’ single coating ensures finished boards stack safely without slippage.

WindowTac™
For Hand Application of Graphics
to Windows and Glass

DESCRIPTION: WindowTac™ is clear 2 mil
PVC (vinyl), coated on one side with a removable
and repositionable aqueous adhesive and a
permanentsolvent acrylic adhesive on the other.
The repositionable adhesive is protected by a
semi-clear, embossed filmic liner with a blue grid
pattern, which transfers a pattern into the adhesive coating. The permanent adhesive side is protected by a white silicone coated paper liner.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: WindowTac was specifically designed to make facemounting on glass easy. No bubbles, no wrinkles and no need for a wet application using a “soapy” concoction. The micro grooves in the removable adhesive facilitate standard application using a squeegee or burnishing pad. WindowTac can also be used in "non-facemount” hand applications.
